The annual Mountain Bike Event in the Rhenosterspruit Nature Conservancy was held on 9 September, and once again, the consensus holds that it is atough, technical event. The ride is not for sissies!
A diverse technical trail is available only ONCE in a year to a small field of Riders. The ride is open to all nature lovers, and people who want to make a contribution to conservation. Ride the Rhenoster is a fund raising event for Conservation.
This event is an opportunity for Mountain Bikers to give back to the landowners who protect the limited open space in Gauteng.
The trail is designed by Miles Crisp, assisted by Abbey de Groot and Charles van den Akker.
And for the first time ever, a lucky draw took place at the end of the day.
Who won and what did they win?
